Infrastructure

A view into the kitchen reveals that there will be stirred in large pots. 155 hungry mouths to feed also requires proper tools. 65 liter pots, three freezers, a wood stove, six gas hobs, etc.
If the hut is fully booked to the last seat, we have to eat in two shifts, which often requires a small miracle in order to satisfy all guests evenly.
The sleeping
rooms are cozy dormitories of various sizes and equipped mostly with fluffy duvets. For obvious reasons, the linens are not washed every day, so we recommend the use of a personal silk or cotton sleeping bag warmly.
As well the sanitary facilities must necessarily operate with a minimum of water. Especially during nighttime, or even in stormy weather it is an outstanding experience to visit the toilet in a neighboring building. Incidentally, also for the hut team!
