Although there is not much snow this year, the glacier is well covered in snow. All the summits (Kranzberg, Äbeni Flue, Grünegghorn, Gross Grünhorn, Trugberg, Dreieckhorn) around the Konkordiahütte have been made again since the last snowfall. Guests report very good conditions.
Gross Grünhorn: Has been skied in very good conditions and is groomed. There is good snow on the ridge. The abseil piste towards Finsteraarhonrhütte is generally not recommended (falling rocks, snow-covered picks).
Grünegghorn: Has been climbed under good conditions.
Fiescherhörner: Fieschersattel and summit were done in good conditions.
Äbeni Flue: Great from the Hollandiahütte - the Äbeni Flue has not yet been climbed from the east side (Bergschrund).
Aletschhorn: We have no up-to-date information on the Haslerrippe. The Aletschhorn has also not yet been climbed via the Dreieckhorn.
Dreieckhorn: The Dreieckhorn was recently climbed under good conditions.
Jungfrau: The Jungfrau has been done.
Märielensee Tunnel: The tunnel is open and accessible (no lighting).
Descent into the Lötschental: The road from Fafleralp to Blatten has been cleared. The shuttle bus will run from Wednesday, April 30.
Fiescheralp gondola: The
maintenance timetable applies.
We ourselves work at the hut and are not travelling in the area. Therefore, all information comes from our guests. High-altitude ski tours require careful planning, ascent and descent are at your own risk and responsibility. There are no markings.
